The Defence, Army, Naval and Air Attaché is the highest military representative of the Netherlands Ministry of Defence, Royal Netherlands Navy, Royal Netherlands Army, Royal Netherlands Air Force and Royal Netherlands Military Police in Syria.

The Defence, Army, Naval and Air Attaché is also accredited in Libanon and Iran.

The Defence section is the primary contact for issues concerning the Netherlands Ministry of Defence.

The Defence section is the primary contact for Syrian, Lebanese and Iranian military (and industrial) representatives for issues concerning the Royal Netherlands Army, Navy, Air Force and Marechaussee.
