The Royal Netherlands Embassy is able to give financial support to local initiatives in various sectors, such as culture, environment, social-economic development and human rights. There are three budget lines available. Available funding is limited (with a maximum of 25.000 euro per project) and the duration of the project cannot exceed one year

• The Small Embassy Projects Programme (KAP) provides for (co-) funding of projects in all policy sectors of the Embassy.
• The Civic Transformation Programme (MATRA)  specifically aims to contribute to the social-economic aspects of transition processes in the region.
• The Facility for Human Rights and Good Governance (FSA) specifically aims to improve and promote human rights and good governance and is available to both governmental and local initiatives.
